And it’s September…I always look forward to the summer and am ready for a
break, but by the end of August I need my routine back and look forward to that
as much as I looked forward to the summer.
Steve and I seemed to have a busy, busy summer...so maybe we need the
routine back so we can rest up.
Chase and Nanaimo were great square dance weekends and we’d like to thank
all of you who joined us on those weekends.
We enjoyed it so much – we’re doing it again next year!
We had a great turnout at the Abbotsford Grand Squares Sunday Dancing – so
again thanks to everyone who came out.
At the end of July we headed off to Regina, for the Canadian National –
congratulations to Saskatchewan for a very successful convention. It’s always nice to see so many dancing
friends from everywhere under one roof.
Penticton is always our vacation (with some dancing thrown in). The weather was warm and sunny and we had a
great time visiting with so many friends, float the channell and play a little golf too!
Our Circle 8 Ranch weekend “Hot August Nights” with Steve Noseck and Paul
and Debbie Taylor was a huge success and we are so thankful to all of those who
came and joined us, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

Our next big group trip will be a 14 Day Cruise
through New England and Eastern Canada on Celebrity Cruise Lines.
The Celebrity Summit is a perfect sized ship for a group, with just
slightly over 2000 passengers, it is easy to run into your travel companions
for a visit, or a drink, or a meal.
We have confirmed dancing space and times for our sea days. We will be
dancing in the mornings in the beautiful Revelations Lounge at the very front
of the ship. It has a large dance floor
that will be just perfect for us. Think about
joining us!
We will be having the 6:00 dinner seating with Round Robin seating (which
means you can sit at different tables with different members of our group each
night, you won’t be restricted to the same table and the same people). Dining like this is a great way to get to
know everyone you are travelling with.
Remember the sooner you book, the better the pricing
– this cruise only goes 3 times in the fall and fills up quickly – book sooner
rather than later for the best pricing, the best choice in cabins. Deposit is 100% refundable until June 2017.
Our Bus Trip to
the Royal Romp in November is filling up quickly – if you want
to join us, make sure we get your name as we only have room left for 4 couples
(we are limited by bus space and hotel rooms available – don’t miss out).

remember, if you're going to one of these dances, especially the out of town
ones, send us a quick note or mention it to me (not Steve) so we know you're
coming. That way if we plan anything other than the dance, we will be
sure to include you.

This is truly one of our favourite places to go for a square dance
weekend. It’s located in the mountains
east of Seattle, and while sometimes the day is warm, the nights are perfect
for dancing. Beautiful spots to put your
RV in the meadow with water and electricity available. Cle Elum and the hotels and motels are just a
few miles down the road. This is our 30th
year calling at Circle 8 Ranch and Steve is looking forward to sharing the
program with our good friend Steve Noseck.
